About AO "NRTB"
The Yak-40 flying test bed
The flying test bed is designed to assess electromagnetic environment in the vicinity of an aerdorome and along flight routes on a real time basis.
The Yak-40 flying test bed is equipped with an operator’s workstation to monitor and analyze electromagnetic environment.
The system is based on the Hewlett Packard Е-4405 radio spectrum analyzer, GPS navigation receiver and ruggedized computer. The latter is developed by NRTB specialists to feature specialized mathematical support allowing automated data acquisition and processing of experimental findings.
Block diagram of the system
A distinctive feature of flight tests includes providing electromagnetic compatibility of radio electronic facilities, monitoring and recording electromagnetic environment parameters on a real time basis, measuring parametrs of ground-based flight operations facilities. Flight tests are conducted together with specialists of Siberian Aeronautical Research Institute named after S. A. Chaplygin and Firma Aviatest, LLC.
